Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This policy explains what personal data TECH PLUS processes when you visit tech-plus.fr or write to us through its contact form, why we process it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It is provided under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 (loi Informatique et Libertés). The site has no user accounts, online payments or newsletter.

3. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to handle your enquiry: the contact form has just three fields, all required, and we ask for nothing else.

When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message, together with two items added automatically: the last topic page you viewed on the site before reaching the form (for example our hyperbaric chamber rental page), or the home page if there is none, and the language in which you were browsing. Your IP address is also used temporarily, in server memory only, to limit repeated submissions; it is neither stored in a database nor included in the message. Like any website, our host also processes technical connection data (IP address, browser type, date and time, page requested) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Please do not include health data or other sensitive information in your message.

4. Why we use your data

We use your data only to:

• answer your enquiry, in your language, and discuss your project with you;
• send you the technical information, quotations or proposals you ask for;
• see which pages of the site lead to enquiries, so that we can improve its content (this is why the originating page is recorded);
• keep the site secure, prevent abusive submissions and meet our legal obligations.

5. Legal bases

When you contact us with a view to obtaining a quotation or proposal, we process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). In all other cases, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive and in managing our relationships with professional customers and prospects (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Recording the originating page and limiting abusive submissions are also based on our legitimate interest in measuring how well the site performs and in protecting it. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (see section 8).

6. How long we keep your data

Messages and the data that comes with them are kept for no more than three years after your last contact with us, in line with the guidance of the CNIL (the French data protection authority) on prospect data, and are then deleted. If your enquiry leads to an order, your data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and then archived for the periods required by law (for instance ten years for accounting records under Article L. 123-22 of the French Commercial Code). Technical connection data is kept by our host for a limited period set by its own policies.

7. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to the TECH PLUS staff who handle your enquiry. We never sell or rent it, and we share it only with:

• our technical processors, acting on our instructions: Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts the site, and Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States), which delivers form messages by email to our info@tech-plus.fr mailbox;
• administrative or judicial authorities, only where the law requires it;
• a technical or commercial partner, only if your project requires it and with your prior agreement.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the rights listed below. To exercise them, email info@tech-plus.fr or write to the address given in section 2; we will reply within one month (Article 12 GDPR). If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it. Under French law, you may also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.

• Right of access: find out whether we process your data and obtain a copy of it.
• Right to rectification: have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed.
• Right to erasure: have your data deleted, in particular when it is no longer needed or when you have objected to its processing.
• Right to restriction: ask us to suspend the use of your data temporarily, for example while we check a point you dispute.
• Right to data portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller, where processing is based on pre-contractual steps or a contract.
• Right to object: object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest.
• Right to lodge a complaint: if you believe your rights have not been respected, lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

9. Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no advertising, social media or analytics cookies and uses no tracking tools. It saves only one item in your browser, in local storage (localStorage): the fact that you have closed or followed the language suggestion, so that it is not shown again. It is never passed on to anyone, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings. The last topic page you viewed is kept only in the page's memory while you browse, is never stored on your device, and is sent to us only if you submit the contact form. The home page shows a video hosted on YouTube: nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play; the video then plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and Google may set cookies under its own privacy policy.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, so form data is encrypted in transit. The form is protected against automated submissions, and access to our mailbox and to our providers' accounts is restricted to authorised TECH PLUS staff. As no system is completely secure, please do not send confidential information through the form; if you need to share sensitive documents, we will agree a suitable method with you.

11. Transfers outside the European Union

Our two providers, Vercel Inc. and Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred to and processed there. These transfers are safeguarded: both companies state that they have certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce their adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, and their data processing agreements also incorporate the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. 12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if we change providers or when the site evolves. The version in force is always the one published on this page, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top.
