Hyperbaric chamber rental is for professionals who need recompression capability for a limited period: a diving contract, tunnel works, a military exercise or deployment, or the shutdown of a hospital's own chamber. Tech Plus rents out self-contained hyperbaric units: chamber, airlock, control panel and gas storage all fit in a single 20 ft container that moves from one site to the next.
The units, 1,500 or 1,600 mm in diameter, are engineered in Bandol, France, by a team that has designed, installed and serviced hyperbaric chambers since 1988 for hospitals, armed forces, tunnelling contractors and commercial diving. You rent equipment that draws on the same know-how as our fixed installations, not a soft-sided wellness chamber.
Rental is strictly for professional use. We do not rent chambers for home, wellness or comfort use, and every request is reviewed with the client.

Everything in 20 ft
Chamber, airlock, control panel, lighting, communications and gas storage in B50 cylinders (air, oxygen, heliox or nitrox) are all housed in the same container.
5 bar, under control
A safety valve on the main chamber caps its pressure. The chamber and airlock each have their own pressure gauges, and an oxygen analyser is fitted outside.
Personnel airlock and medical lock
An attendant can enter or leave through the airlock without interrupting the treatment in the main chamber; the medical lock transfers medication and small items under pressure.
Built-in fire protection
A water spray system protects both hyperbaric compartments at a maximum pressure of 5 bar; the water is then evacuated outside the chamber.
Lighting, communication, backup
Cool light in the chamber and airlock, intercom, cameras, a UPS and backup systems keep visual and voice contact with the occupants.
Trained operators
Tech Plus trains your staff to run the rented chamber, covering both standard and emergency procedures.
Hyperbaric chamber rental: transport, lifting and set-up
A 20 ft container is a format that hauliers, ports and worksites already know how to handle. The rented chamber travels on a semi-trailer, is lifted by crane via its four lifting points and set down on an area prepared in advance, as close as possible to the teams who will need it.
Each installation is planned with you: access for the crane or truck, ground bearing capacity, connections, gas supply and schedule. The choice of breathing gas (air, oxygen, heliox or nitrox) depends on your activity and on the procedures set by your physicians.
The container format also makes projects outside France easier: Tech Plus has worked in 28+ countries and plans the logistics of each destination with you.

Decompression chamber hire for worksites, tunnels and armed forces
Decompression chamber hire meets a temporary need, such as a works campaign, an exercise or a planned shutdown. You do not tie up capital for a limited period, yet you keep on site the means to recompress a diver or a compressed-air worker with decompression illness or gas embolism, on prescription and under medical supervision.
Commercial diving projects
A recompression chamber close to the dive site for the whole duration of the works, with heliox or nitrox according to your procedures.
Tunnel works
A worksite decompression chamber to support compressed-air interventions, alongside the TBM's own airlocks.
Armed forces
Mobile recompression capability for an exercise, a mine clearance campaign or the deployment of military divers.
When a hospital chamber is down
An option to assess when the department's own chamber is out of service for maintenance or periodic requalification. Tech Plus held lot 3, 'emergency recompression chamber', of the UniHA framework for 2022-2026; that lot, intended for occasional hospital and out-of-hospital needs, also allowed short-term rental.
Inside the 20 ft mobile hyperbaric chamber
The unit comprises a main chamber and a personnel airlock, pressurized and decompressed separately, plus a medical lock that gives access to the main chamber.
The autoclave doors work on the equal-pressure principle: they only open once the pressure is the same on both sides. O-rings on the doors and viewports, taper threads for the bushings on the pneumatic bulkheads and an external CO₂ discharge valve complete the pneumatic system.
